Situation

A customer received 6,000 gallons of unintentional product which entered the plant and upset their treatment system, risking a discharge violation.

Solution Provided

Instead of hauling the liquid offsite, NEI sent a Waste Water Treatment Consultant in to evaluate the situation, and found a viable treatment solution.

Impact Created

Treating on-site instead of hauling the product away, resulted in a 93% cost savings to the customer, not to mention the cost of plant downtime.

Situation

A customer was concerned over the dailty waste produced at their facility. As part of their P2 Program, they turned to NEI for a solution.

Solution Provided

NEI's team of experts found a way to significantly reduce waste through new chemistry applications and modernizing the customer's soft water program.

Impact Created

The impact was a daily reduction in summer water consumption by 5,500 gallons, nearly 500,000 gallons by end of summer and an annual salt reduction of 2.5 tons.


Situation

A customer hired NEI to pump and dispose of 16,000 gallons of glycol -- a very costly project for the customer.

Solution Delivered

NEI suggested a plan to recycle the glycol through a filtration process as opposed to replacing the system with all new product.

Impact Created

Using this approach as opposed to disposal and replacement saved the customer $107,000!
